On top of the world!

For the last few days I haven't posted because we've been busy with company from Brookfield, IL
(No, not the zoo!)   Yesterday was so cool because we went way up on a mountain called Wayah Bald!   Larry drove and drove and drove on a narrow, winding road.  We finally got to a fire tower at 5,342'.   Up we climbed and met 2 men who stopped for lunch in the tower, taking a break from the Appalachian Trail.  They posed with me, and then I posed by myself.   It was so cool!!!!!!!!!   To-morrow I'll post more pictures!

      Thank you! Larry says Pat will miss me when I go to my next home. She says she will, but she'll save a fortune in batteries for her camera. Yours is the first comment I've had. It's good to know someone is reading my blog!
